N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine (NAC) is a potent antioxidant derived from naturally occurring amino acids. While NAC is commonly used by doctors to treat people who have overdone acetaminophen (paracetamol, Tylenol), supplementation with NAC and/or its precursor glutathione may have other health benefits.
